In the Lost Tales of Orion, Janak was forefather of advanced magic using the energy of the mind and
spirit. He was the favored child of the god Keola, and staunchly defended his tribe of lupogryphs from
attack when the Rings Colony decided that they didn't trust such powerful magic in the hands of his
