Ishmat, Lupogryph
			Ishmat is an important character in the Moon and Pearl Saga (check out the writer's library), once a high-ranking servant of Zacal in the Silver Court. He condoned the slaying of humans in response to the deaths of the Greater Beasts, and has since lived in exile, debating whether or not to appeal to the Diamond Court with an apology. Now the the Diamond Court is almost completely gone, he feels that maybe this man called "River-Runner" can help him. In turn, it is Ishmat's compass that points the way to the ancient Courts od Divinity. A lupogryph is a gryphon with the hindquarters of a wolf.
